Job Opportunity

Keltbray Energy is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as a Senior Cost Consultant.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the production of project ITT pricing and submission documents within the GSP Framework. They will ensure that all pricing requirements are met and submitted in line with contract requirements, and will liaise with the Employers team to progress submission of ITT and all post-submission activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review documents and prepare a report identifying project details.
  • Collaborate with contractors to complete pricing preliminaries.
  • Develop and maintain a project risk register.
  • Negotiate post-tender financial agreements.
  • Assess and manage risk and opportunity, and support negotiations as part of the pricing process.
  • Ensure timely collation and review of tender documents and submission requirements, including accurate and compliant design proposals.
  • Provide project kick-off documentation as part of the commercial handover meeting.
  • Ensure that the project commercial team has received an effective handover of bid documentation.
  • Have experience working within construction for a contractor, with a range of project experience including new builds, refurbishments, and civil engineering and utilities.
  • Ability to work with design teams to assess risk is essential.
  • Sound knowledge of and ability to use spreadsheets and other commercial packages.
