Job Title: Personal Shopping Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Shopping Consultant to join our team at Selfridges. As a Personal Shopping Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our high-end clients, providing personalized shopping experiences, and driving sales and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Nurture and develop relationships with high-end clients to generate new business and increase sales
  • Recognize and capitalize on opportunities to expand our client base and drive revenue growth
  • Develop and implement plans to drive productivity, sales, and profit across own bought and concession businesses
  • Monitor customer service satisfaction and spend, suggesting improvements where necessary
  • Partner with key stakeholders at store events and through other commercial opportunities
  • Act as an ambassador for Selfridges Personal Shopping, representing our brand in public and store events
  • Follow health and safety and security procedures
  • Positively interact with potential and existing clients, answering queries and providing guidance on our services
  • Continue to deliver our unique service by maintaining customer care, responding to client enquiries, and booking and following up on deliveries and client alterations
  • Responsible for prepping the client rooms, maintaining housekeeping standards, and having refreshments ready for client arrival
  • Work confidently and collaboratively with various departments to deliver exceptional service and standards
  • Stay ahead of the latest trends by taking every opportunity to expand your product knowledge and being aware of competitor activity

Requirements:

  • A reputable personal shopper with an established client basis
  • Collaborative and supportive of the wider Personal Shopping team
  • A proud shopkeeper with a focus on maintaining a clean and tidy environment
  • Detail orientated with a focus on delivering an excellent experience and luxury environment for our customers
  • Well informed about store events and services that may appeal to Personal Shopping clients
  • A great communicator with the ability to adapt style and service to suit customer needs and preference
  • Known to be a sales and service expert with a commercial mind-set
