About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Manager to lead our School Chef Educator Programme. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of school children by improving their health and wellbeing through better food and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a high-quality training programme for school kitchen staff, aligned with our vision and values.
  • Manage programme logistics, including scheduling and venue booking, to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Lead national expansion and develop proposals for schools, trusts, and caterers to increase programme reach.
  • Liaise with senior school leaders and manage relationships with sponsors to secure funding and support.
  • Monitor programme costs and risks, and ensure legal compliance to maintain a safe and effective training environment.
  • Drive high uptake for our fully funded training places to maximize programme impact.
  • Evaluate and document programme impact and best practices to inform future development.
  • Maintain accurate data and support Chef Trainers with reporting to ensure programme effectiveness.
  • Oversee training material development and programme improvement to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Line manage Chef Trainers to ensure high-quality training delivery.
  • Keep our contacts database up to date with participant, partner, and programme data to ensure effective communication.
  • Assist with programme delivery and provide guidance to Chef Trainers as needed to ensure programme success.
Requirements
  • Passion for improving child health through better food and education.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills to manage partnerships and stakeholders.
  • Experience in delivering and designing training programmes, including in-person and online delivery.
  • Ability to manage and scale programmes nationally, with a focus on high-quality delivery.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills to manage programme logistics and ensure smooth delivery.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and managing resources on an online platform.
