Job Title: Registered Manager - Learning Disability Specialist

Glenholme Healthcare Ltd is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our dual-site Supported Living services in Bedford. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our services, ensuring high standards of care and support for individuals with learning disabilities.

About the Role:
  • Operational management of the home, including development, supervision, and performance management of staff
  • Responding to referrals and undertaking initial assessments of need
  • Producing plans of support, ensuring clear goals and expected outcomes for service users
  • Coordinating person-centered reviews and working closely with local multi-disciplinary teams and community-based agencies
  • Maintaining high standards of environmental, safety, and quality
  • Providing a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere and facilitating service user engagement, involvement, and peer support
  • Keeping up to date with legislation and ensuring staff are appropriately experienced and trained for their roles

Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, ideally with Positive Behaviour Support training and experience
  • Proven management background and ability to demonstrate a caring and professional ethos
  • Registration with the CQC and adherence to CQC regulations
  • Minimum of three years' experience working with individuals with Learning disabilities
  • Relevant care qualification (such as RMN/Dip SW, degree or NVQ Level 4/5)
  • Ability to collaborate and work professionally with service users, families, professionals, and work colleagues
  • Experience of supervising and supporting staff and knowledge and skills to ensure safe management and administration of medication
