Make a Difference in the Lives of Young People

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Station Youth Worker at RAF Valley. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering youth and play work sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings during term time, as well as developing a holiday programme to meet the needs of the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of youth workers to deliver high-quality youth and play work sessions
  • Develop and implement a holiday programme to engage young people in the community
  • Work closely with the Airplay staff team, young people, and local RAF Community Support team to ensure a cohesive and effective programme
  • Plan, prepare, and administer youth and play work sessions, including risk assessments and evaluation

About the Role:

This is a part-time role, requiring 18 hours per week, with flexible working hours to include Tuesday and Thursday evenings. As a Station Youth Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people, inspiring, energizing, and motivating them to reach their full potential.
