The Family Engagement Coordinator is responsible for observing the interaction between parents and children in a supervised contact setting. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with families.

Key Responsibilities

  • To observe and record interactions between parents and children during supervised contact sessions.
  • To ensure the child's safety and well-being at all times.
  • To maintain accurate records of contact sessions, including any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • To provide support and guidance to parents as needed, while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • To work collaboratively with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working with children and families in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, requiring availability on weekdays. A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check and provide proof of identity.
