**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Instructional Lead to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an Academic Instructional Lead, you will be responsible for supervising students in the absence of their regular teacher and maintaining classroom management.

The ideal candidate will have GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, experience working with children or young people, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additional qualifications such as a Teaching Assistant qualification and First Aid certification are desired.

This is a temporary position with potential for a permanent contract, working full-time hours Monday to Friday with statutory holiday pay provided. The estimated salary for this role is £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Supervise students in the absence of their regular teacher
  • Maintain classroom management and discipline
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans
  • Provide support to students in their learning
  • Manage the classroom environment effectively

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
