About the Role

The Graduate Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a complex, multi-billion pound programme to redevelop a science campus in the London / South East area. This role will involve working closely with the project team to ensure that all construction projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a full understanding of the works information (project scope) and access the project common data environment to obtain construction details and other necessary information.
  • Monitor site activity through regular site visits and inspections to confirm that work is carried out in accordance with the works information.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, conditions, and resources.
  • Obtain, review, and monitor compliance with quality procedures, including inspection and test plans, as-built records, and test results.
  • Identify, record, and notify defects using the defects management tool, Fieldview.
  • Manage the samples and benchmarks process, including review and approval of samples and benchmarks, maintaining an accurate log of sample and benchmark status, and coordinating input from technical advisors and stakeholders.
  • Witness testing and commissioning activity.
  • Coordinate technical advisor input into site inspections, sample and benchmark reviews, and defect resolution.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to service excellence and deliver to agreed quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively within a large project team, including technical advisors and construction managers, and be confident in the use of digital systems to access project information and record defects.
  • A good working knowledge of the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) would be beneficial but not essential.

Requirements
  • NEC Supervisor or NEC Project Manager Accreditation.
