Main Responsibilities:
  • Site Operations Management
    • Manage day-to-day site activities to ensure the project is on schedule and within budget.
    • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff.
  • Project Planning and Coordination
    • Develop and manage short-term and long-term project plans.
    • Work closely with the project manager, architects, and stakeholders to maintain open communication.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure quality standards are maintained across all phases of construction.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance.
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental Management
    • Implement and enforce health and safety protocols on-site.
    • Lead safety meetings and review risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Budget and Resource Management
    • Track site-related expenses and manage resources effectively.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 7+ years in site management, with a strong track record of delivering large-scale education projects.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 6/7 in Construction Management, HND, or related qualification.
  • Certifications: SMSTS certified, First Aid certification, and CSCS card.
