We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Estates Officer to join our Property and Facilities team at Stoke On Trent College. As an Estates Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Property and Facilities in maintaining and developing the college premises.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Head of Property and Facilities in the effective maintenance and development of the college premises.
- Ensure that the facilities and overall environment fully support the overall aims and visions of the College.
- Work closely with the Property and Facilities team to ensure that all maintenance and development work is carried out to a high standard.
- Assist in the management of the college's property and estate, including the maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Property and Facilities team.
- A minimum of 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including Maths and English.
- A property/building qualification to a recognised trade association (for example, City and Guilds or NVQ).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
