Estates Support Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estates Capital Projects team for an enthusiastic and reliable estates support officer (Projects) at UHNM.
You will assist the Estates Managers (Projects) on a range of Capital schemes and be responsible for the management of your own allocated minor projects an tasks as part of larger schemes.
Projects typically include; new builds, refurbishment schemes, backlog maintenance and minor works. Projects will be across all of the UHNM sites including Royal Stoke and County Hospital.
To coordinate with external Project Managers, ensuring the delivery of high quality schemes on budget and to programme.
Effective communication skills are essential for the delivery of successful Capital schemes ensuring the client brief is met and other Trust and External stakeholders re fully engaged. These include clinical staff, fire safety, security, Infection Prevention, Architects and Engineering Consultants.
To assist the Capital Projects Team in the day to day execution of the Trusts Capital Programme, under direction.
To be responsible for allocated minor projects/tasks/pieces of work and be able to assimilate, summarise and present information effectively in order to support project work and reporting.
Provide a safe environment for patient’s staff and visitors.
Develop and maintain close and effective working relationships with the Estates Operations Managers, other Estates & Facilities Managers and external Project managers to achieve an effective and integrated Estates & Facilities service.
