About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Classroom Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting students in the classroom, ensuring a calm and focused learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students in the classroom, maintaining a calm and focused learning environment
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and facilitate activities in the teacher's absence
  • Assist students with their learning and answer any questions about the tasks set
  • Ensure classroom behavior is managed effectively in line with school policies
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and any issues
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people or in a school environment (advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and adaptable under pressure
  • Enthusiastic, proactive attitude with a genuine interest in education
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
