About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Applied Psychologist to join our team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 8a Senior Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy to clients with complex mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy to clients with complex mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide advice on psychological aspects of risk management.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to junior staff members.
  • Contribute to service development and evaluation.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in applied psychology.
  • Postdoctoral training in one or more specialized areas of psychological practice.
  • HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status.
  • Experience of working with complex client groups and a range of clinical severity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
