About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Applied Psychologist to join our team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a highly specialist psychological care professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to clients with complex mental health or learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and treatment to clients with complex conditions.
  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to junior staff members.
  • Contribute to service audit and development, ensuring a psychological perspective is brought to service redesign and cultural change.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied Psychology (or its equivalent) as accredited by the BPS.
  • HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status.
  • Experience of working with clients with complex mental health or learning disabilities.
  • Strong leadership and supervision skills.
