Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Support Worker to join our team in the Care of the Elderly department at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients, working under the supervision of Registered Nurses and contributing to the delivery of excellent patient outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals who are passionate about delivering dignified care to patients and are committed to working as part of a dynamic healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing direct and indirect care to patients under the delegation and supervision of Registered Nurses.
  • Meeting the needs of patients with regards to induction, mandatory and statutory training.
  • Ensuring high standards of patient care at all times, in line with Trust policies and guidelines.
  • Working effectively as a member of the nursing and wider multi-professional healthcare team.

Requirements:

  • Evidence of completed competencies as part of a professional portfolio.
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Evidence of functional skills or willingness to undertake.
  • Previous experience in a health setting.
  • Experience within an acute setting.
