Job Description

**Assessment Quality Manager**

We are seeking an experienced Assessment Quality Manager to join our team at AQA. As an Assessment Quality Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing, improving, and managing assessment quality across our end-to-end design and delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse assessment quality performance data and recommend improvements with key stakeholders
  • Review key business processes and rules to ensure high-quality and compliant outcomes
  • Lead assessment quality projects and activities across areas, managing cross-team working groups to ensure quality, budget control, timely delivery, and compliance with regulatory conditions
  • Represent Assessment Quality to meet wider business needs, support series delivery, and input assessment quality expertise to strategic projects
  • Lead change and champion assessment quality, supporting internal colleagues to do the same
  • Produce reports and papers for management and governance groups

Requirements:

  • Understanding of continuous improvement and quality management principles
  • Ability to lead work and projects to put these principles into practice in relation to assessment quality
  • Confident in working with, influencing, and managing internal stakeholders to support the delivery of high-quality assessments throughout end-to-end processes that meet customer needs and regulatory requirements
  • Good knowledge of assessment design and delivery best practice and ability to represent that well to varied stakeholders
  • Good understanding of data analysis, including statistical data
  • Understands the regulatory environment in which AQA works and the importance of compliance
