Role Overview

In this exciting role, you will play a crucial part in developing and optimizing current and future vehicle programs, focusing on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and aeroacoustics simulations. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing vehicle performance, improving user experience, and driving innovation within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine CFD capabilities to support vehicle program development
  • Perform external and internal aeroacoustics CFD simulations, providing design recommendations to progress vehicle programs
  • Present CFD results and recommendations to global program teams
  • Correlate CFD results with acoustic wind tunnel data on prototype and production vehicles
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and develop procedures for analytical wind noise processes
  • Provide support to other CFD areas as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Aeroacoustics, CFD, Aerospace, or Aerodynamics
  • Experience in CFD within industry, with higher experience levels recognized
  • Hands-on experience with Simulia PowerFLOW and ANSA preferred
  • Ability to understand and/or write Python code beneficial
