Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join our Environmental Fluid Mechanics research group at the University of Oxford. The successful candidate will be part of a large team of researchers working on wind and tidal energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and test tidal stream turbines and platform concepts for renewable energy generation.
- Contribute to the design of laboratory turbines and coordinate their manufacture and assembly.
- Lead turbine testing campaigns at Oxford and external facilities, and related data analysis.
Requirements
- Relevant PhD (or near completion) in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong background and relevant experience in experimental fluid mechanics.
- Excellent communication skills.
