Job OverviewThis role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team of experts in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and contribute to the development of current and future vehicle programs. As a CFD Specialist, you will be responsible for performing aeroacoustic simulations, analyzing and correlating results, and providing design recommendations to progress vehicle programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain CFD capabilities, including external and internal aeroacoustic simulations
- Present CFD results and recommendations to program teams globally
- Correlate CFD results with acoustic wind tunnel data on prototype and production vehicles
- Attend acoustic wind tunnel tests in China to assist with correlation or program development
- Maintain and develop procedures for performing various analytical wind noise processes
- Provide support to other CFD areas as required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Aeroacoustics, CFD, Aerospace, or Aerodynamics
- Experience in CFD within industry, with higher experience levels welcome and recognized
- Hands-on experience with Simulia PowerFLOW and ANSA preferred
- Ability to understand and/or write Python code beneficial
