NHS Lothian is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to lead our team in delivering exceptional patient care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing leadership, supervision, and deployment of staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership for the delivery of patient care within the area of responsibility.
- Have managerial responsibility for the area in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse/Team Manager.
- Supervise and deploy staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Assess care needs and evaluate care plans to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Maintain both clinical and staff governance.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of clinical governance and staff governance.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
