Job Summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Charge Nurse to join our team at Western General Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Supervise and deploy staff in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse.
  • Assess care needs and evaluate care plans to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients.
  • Maintain clinical and staff governance.
  • Ensure compliance with PVG Scheme membership/record requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in nursing and leadership, with experience in managing a team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will also need to have a PVG Scheme membership/record and be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
