About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Refuge Worker to join our team at Solace Women's Aid.

As a key member of our team, you will provide vital support and guidance to women and children who have experienced domestic abuse, helping them to rebuild their lives and achieve independence.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing emotional and practical support to survivors of domestic abuse
  • Conducting risk and needs assessments to develop personalized support plans
  • Working closely with women to identify and address their needs, risks, and safety concerns
  • Linking survivors with other agencies and services to ensure comprehensive support
  • Managing a caseload and prioritizing tasks to meet the needs of the client group

We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the impact of domestic abuse on women and children, as well as experience of providing support and guidance to survivors. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with women from diverse backgrounds.
