About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate DVA Support Worker to join our team at our specialist Complex Needs Refuge in Greenwich. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in empowering women to reclaim their independence, dignity, and choice based on their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality advocacy and support services to women at our specialist Complex Needs Refuge
  • Prioritize the safety of families through risk assessments, safety plans, and individual support plans
  • Manage a caseload of up to eight families, ensuring a high standard of housing management is in place at the refuge
  • Support women to develop a stable home environment and promote their independence
About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience of delivering support to adults from diverse backgrounds and with mixed abilities and complex needs
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults
  • Experience of undertaking individual assessments
  • An understanding of Safeguarding principles
  • An understanding of local and national approaches to tackling domestic abuse, including MARAC, child protection, social and voluntary services approaches/involvement
  • Strong crisis management skills
