We are looking for a talented Financial Leadership and Partnerships Manager to join our team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a large-scale organisation in the property industry, focusing on high-speed infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and experience working with infrastructure/property projects. In return, we offer a competitive annual salary of circa £54,500 to £68,150, plus a range of benefits including a 12% pension contribution and 20% flex fund as a cash allowance in lieu of benefits.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Financial Leadership and Partnerships Manager, offering financial guidance and support to senior executives and overseeing financial projects to ensure cost control and budget management.

Responsibilities:
  • Offer financial guidance and support to senior executives to facilitate key business decisions.
  • Oversee financial projects, ensuring cost control and budget management in line with GovS 006.
  • Lead financial reporting and analysis, providing accurate and timely financial information.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Interpret and report insights from management reports to facilitate the decision-making process by senior business leaders.
  • Participate in the development of strategic business plans.
  • Review and challenge funding requests in line with HM Treasury's Managing Public Money.
Requirements:
  • Accounting Qualification.
  • Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  • Experience with infrastructure/property projects.
  • Proficiency in major accounting software and databases.
  • Ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
