Job Title: General Ledger Administrator

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £36,000 per annum (FTE)

Location: Based near Greenhithe, Dartford

About the Position

CV-Library seeks a skilled and experienced Accounting Assistant to administer our General Ledger system, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Administer the General Ledger system, maintaining accurate records and balances
  • Process and post journal entries, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
  • Manage and reconcile bank statements to maintain financial integrity
  • Raise and process purchase orders, adhering to company policies
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analyses
  • Provide exceptional administrative support to the Finance team, including responding to queries and managing email correspondence
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience in administering General Ledger systems, preferably using SAGE 50
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve financial discrepancies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to work methodically and independently, with attention to detail and a focus on quality
