Location: Based near Greenhithe, Dartford
About the PositionCV-Library seeks a skilled and experienced Accounting Assistant to administer our General Ledger system, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
Main Responsibilities:- Administer the General Ledger system, maintaining accurate records and balances
- Process and post journal entries, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
- Manage and reconcile bank statements to maintain financial integrity
- Raise and process purchase orders, adhering to company policies
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analyses
- Provide exceptional administrative support to the Finance team, including responding to queries and managing email correspondence
- Experience in administering General Ledger systems, preferably using SAGE 50
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve financial discrepancies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders
- Ability to work methodically and independently, with attention to detail and a focus on quality
