**Support Graduate Role in Education**

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at a Primary School in Whittlesey. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and build your confidence in the classroom, while making a positive impact on the lives of students.

With an estimated salary of £85-£95 per day, this role is equivalent to approximately £17,000 - £19,000 per annum based on a 2-day working week. Our school prioritises staff well-being and provides ongoing training and professional development opportunities to support your growth and career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide targeted support to students in need, focusing on Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • To develop and implement tailored resources to meet individual learning needs, in collaboration with teachers
  • To support the teacher with behaviour management strategies, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • To act as a positive role model for students, demonstrating excellent behaviour and attitudes towards learning

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
  • Strong communication skills for building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • A commitment to teamwork and collaboration, with a focus on providing high-quality support to students and staff
  • An enthusiasm for engaging with children and supporting their educational journey
