Our practice in Hexham, Northumberland, is a community-focused choice for pet owners who value high standards of care. We believe preventative healthcare is key to ensuring pets' health is the best it can be.
We have a highly experienced team that offers a range of medical options and procedures tailored to clients' needs. Our goal is to provide effective medical care and advice to both clients and their pets.
The ideal candidate will be joining our friendly team as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. The role involves working 40 hours per week over four days (8 am until 6 pm) with regular weekend mornings (9 am until 1 pm) at the Hexham branch.
**Salary and Benefits**
- A competitive salary dependent on experience, responsibilities, and qualifications.
- Attractive remuneration for out-of-hours work, plus mileage paid for traveling to and from the surgery for work carried out out of hours.
- Holiday allowance - 5 weeks plus bank holidays (pro rata).
- CPD allowance of £300 per annum. CPD in excess of £300 per annum may be subject to signing a training contract.
- Uniform provided.
**Job Requirements**
- As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care and supporting our veterinary surgeons in all aspects of clinical practice.
- You will need to have a strong understanding of small animal care and be able to communicate effectively with clients.
