Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic clinical pharmacist to join our community intermediate care unit, providing intermediate care for rehabilitation and step-up beds for patients requiring short-term inpatient care.
This exciting part-time opportunity will allow you to develop greater autonomy and responsibility while providing a high-quality clinical pharmacy and medicines optimisation service to patients.
As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with nurses, doctors, and therapists to deliver excellent patient care.
Main Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive medicines optimisation service to patients and the multidisciplinary treatment team, in line with CNWL Trust policies, procedures, and standards.
Key responsibilities include developing clinical knowledge and skills, delivering a safe and effective dispensing and supply service, and deputising for other pharmacists in their absence.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical knowledge base, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Essential qualifications include registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council and a postgraduate certificate in general clinical pharmacy.
Desirable qualifications include a vocational Master's degree in pharmacy and membership of the RPSGB.
