About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Service Engineer to join our team at Nationwide Platforms. As a Mobile Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of our powered access equipment to ensure it is in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine service and maintenance on all equipment and products to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and fault-finding to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across depots to ensure effective workshop performance and achieve company targets.
  • Provide expert advice on equipment repair costs and recommend solutions to customers.
  • Ensure the van is fully equipped with spare parts at all times and maintain accurate service records.
  • Adhere to company guidelines on Health & Safety at Work and promote a safe working environment.
  • Represent the company and its values, portraying a professional image to customers and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Relevant general maintenance qualification and experience in the plant rental sector.
  • Proven experience in plant, diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics/fault finding.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong understanding of customer service principles.
