Mobile Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Service Engineer to join our team at Nationwide Platforms. As a Mobile Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of our powered access equipment to ensure they are in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine service and maintenance of all equipment and products.
  • Conduct fault-finding, servicing, repairs, and maintenance of powered access equipment.
  • Complete all relevant supporting paperwork in line with company procedures.
  • Refurbish equipment and products as necessary.
  • Promote teamwork between colleagues to ensure effective workshop performance.
  • Liaise with team members to estimate and advise on equipment repair costs.
  • Ensure the van is fully equipped with spare parts at all times.
  • Update service records and populate daily worksheets.
  • Adhere to company guidelines on Health & Safety at Work.
  • Represent the company and values of the business, portraying a professional image to customers and other stakeholders.

About You:

  • Relevant general maintenance qualification and experience in the plant rental sector.
  • Experience in plant, diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics/fault finding.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Good interpersonal skills and understanding of excellent customer service.
