Mobile Service Technician - Midlands

We're seeking a skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our team at Zenith, the UK's largest provider of commercial fleet solutions. As a Mobile Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing heavy vehicles and trailers at our customer sites in the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer sites to service and repair trucks and trailers in accordance with current legislation;
  • Fault-finding and diagnostics as directed;
  • Supporting customers and completing inspections on engines and electrical components;
  • Rectifying problems within specific timeframes;
  • Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to both new and used trucks and trailers.
  • Working on large double deck trailers, with experience in moving decks being crucial.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent);
  • Knowledge and experience of servicing and maintaining HGVs and other commercial vehicles;
  • Experience in carrying out diagnostic repairs and fault finding;
  • Full valid driving license;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • A real commitment to delivering first-class service and a sense of pride in your work.
