About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Vehicle Service Technician to join our team at Rubber Duck Cars. As a Mobile Vehicle Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer care by offering technical advice and conducting vehicle inspections for diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Technical Advice and Support: Offer expert technical advice and guidance to customers on vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Conduct Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to diagnose and repair issues, ensuring vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
  • Deliver Excellent Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customers are satisfied with the service received.
  • Adhere to Company Protocols: Adhere to company protocols, legislation, and manufacturer guidelines to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Commit to Continuous Learning: Commit to ongoing learning and development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Fully Qualified: Hold a City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Strong Organisational Skills: Possess strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage processes, administration, and paperwork efficiently.
  • Leadership and Coaching: Demonstrate leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to support and develop colleagues and junior team members.
  • Valid Driving License: Hold a valid full driving license with fewer than 9 penalty points for a minimum of 6 months.
  • Right to Work in the UK: Provide evidence of the 'Right to work in the UK'.
