Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Administrator to join our team. As a Technical Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting our Financial Planners and Administrators in providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and collate quantitative information to compile wealth management and financial planning reports
- Discuss client needs and objectives with wealth managers and undertake research to identify suitable solutions
- Complete tax calculations for withdrawals and prepare information and recommendations for client reviews
- Maintain client records and data accurately and efficiently in accordance with company and FCA rules and requirements
- Keep up-to-date with new product, technical, and legislative changes
- Effectively manage day-to-day work through our workflow system and hold regular meetings with Financial Planners and Administrators to discuss workloads and priorities
- Provide training to other team members and offer guidance on day-to-day working practices, training, and technical support
- Carry out other general administration duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Hold or working towards Diploma in Financial Planning or Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years' industry experience
- Good interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good report writing skills
- Good numeracy skills with close attention to detail
- Excellent organization skills with experience of working to deadlines
- Good understanding of FCA ethics, rules, and requirements
- Good knowledge of investments, pensions, and protection plans as well as other financial products and financial planning tools
- High level of technical experience
- Able to demonstrate an adaptable/flexible approach to work within a changing environment
