EYFS Teaching Assistant Role

Ribbons & Reeves is partnering with a reputable primary school in Barking and Dagenham to recruit a highly skilled EYFS Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and empathetic individual to support the school's reception class.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a supportive learning environment, promoting pupil development and educational growth.
  • Collaborate with the Class Teacher to plan engaging learning activities.
  • Implement school policies and practices, adhering to the school's ethos.
  • Supervise and lead small groups of children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs, providing targeted assistance.
  • Contribute to a creative and inclusive curriculum, valuing diverse learning approaches.
Requirements:
  • Hold a minimum of a 2:1 degree in Psychology or Education from a top UK university.
  • Prior experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
  • Confident, bubbly personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Aspiring EYFS/Primary Teachers are encouraged to apply.
