Job Overview

Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Practitioner to work in regular and flexible shifts. This role involves managing a defined caseload, conducting assessments, and implementing care programs for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To assume responsibility for the management of a defined caseload using specialist knowledge and advanced clinical reasoning.
  • To take an active role in the holistic assessment and treatment of young people who present with mental health problems.
  • To provide liaison with other professionals and agencies to ensure effective communication and comprehensive care packages.
  • To maintain accurate clinical records, including electronic data entry and report writing.
Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
