Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Department as a Senior Registered Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of our nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care, ensuring that standards of care are consistently maintained and enhanced.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of patients, employees, and consultants.
  • Deputize for the Sister/Charge Nurse and lead on clinical shifts as required.
  • Conduct yourself professionally within the framework provided by the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) Codes of Professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse level 1/Diploma/BSc in Nursing studies.
  • Evidence of relevant clinical professional development, preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration.
  • Mentorship Qualification (ENB 998 or equivalent).
  • Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability.
  • Excellent clinical applied knowledge, evidenced-based, and taking account of national best practice standards.
  • Basic workload/shift management skills.
  • Understanding of workload and shift management.
  • Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
  • 18 months post-registration experience.
  • Outpatient Nurse experience.
