Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

A leading multi-site business is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. With a strong focus on eco-conscious methods, this role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects aimed at developing more efficient and sustainable waste processing and recycling techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize site assets and ensure existing equipment operates at peak efficiency.
  • Contribute to the exploration of new manufacturing techniques and enhance energy and utilities efficiency to achieve cost savings.
  • Engage in cross-functional teamwork to maintain a consistent and adaptable approach to ongoing improvement.
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with safety protocols and follow the planned preventive maintenance (PPM) system diligently.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical engineering background with a sound grasp of health and safety regulations.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with experience in manufacturing or process operations.
  • Fault finding skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team and independently.
  • Highly motivated and willing to pursue additional personal development supported by the company.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range of £44,000-50,500 per annum.

  • 28 days holiday entitlement increasing with service and Employee Assistance Program.

Shift Pattern:

  • 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights (5:30-5:45 am/pm).
