Facilities Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Randstad. As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems within commercial and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical System Maintenance: Conduct planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks on electrical systems to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with fellow team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and optimize facility performance.
- Improvement and Upgrade Recommendations: Recommend improvements and upgrades to enhance the efficiency and reliability of electrical systems.
Requirements:
- Qualifications and Certifications: Full qualification as an Electrical Engineer, accompanied by relevant certifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Experience and Skills: Demonstrated experience in facilities maintenance, particularly with a focus on electrical systems within commercial or industrial settings. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team.
