Job Title: Children Registered Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the development and management of our brand-new Parent and Child fostering provision.

Rees Parent and Child Fostering Ltd is a new and innovative fostering agency specialising in Parent and Child placements. Our mission is to provide safe, nurturing environments where both parents and children can thrive, with tailored support that promotes family cohesion, development, and positive outcomes.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to the agency, ensuring the effective delivery of services in line with organisational goals and regulatory requirements. This includes running the day-to-day operations of the agency, including the management, recruitment, training, and supervision of staff members, as well as developing and implementing an effective out of hours support service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the agency, ensuring the effective delivery of services in line with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Operational Management: Run the day-to-day operations of the agency, including the management, recruitment, training, and supervision of staff members.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust quality assurance systems to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
  • Case Management: Oversee the assessment, placement, and review process for parent and child fostering placements, ensuring the provision of high-quality care and support to families.
Requirements
  • Social Worker with relevant qualifications to act as the Registered Manager.
  • Previous experience in a managerial role within a fostering or childcare setting, with a strong understanding of the regulatory framework.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in parent and child assessments.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
  • Sound knowledge of child development, attachment theory, and family support interventions.
