Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Research Specialist to join our team at Bureau Veritas in Stafford, TX. As a Laboratory Research Specialist, you will be responsible for performing laboratory tests to determine the chemical and physical characteristics of materials. You will also operate laboratory equipment, clean and maintain equipment, and calibrate instruments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform laboratory tests to determine the chemical and physical characteristics of materials.
  2. Operate laboratory equipment such as FTIRs, ICPS, spectrophotometer and gas chromatograph.
  3. Clean and maintain laboratory equipment.
  4. Calibrate laboratory instruments.

Requirements:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
