About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Theatre Technician to join our team at Freedom Leisure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical theatre, with experience in patching, rigging, and focusing lanterns.

The successful candidate will work closely with our events team to ensure that all shows and events run smoothly and efficiently. This will involve providing technical support, operating lighting and sound equipment, and maintaining the venue's technical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for all incoming shows and events
  • Operate lighting and sound equipment
  • Maintain the venue's technical systems
  • Work closely with the events team to ensure smooth event delivery

Requirements:

  • Technical experience in a touring venue or similar
  • Patching, Rigging and focusing lanterns
  • Good organisational skills
  • Working knowledge of the operation and maintenance on lighting, sound and stage associated equipment.
