Are you an experienced maintenance professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our team at TQR in Plymouth.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the efficient planning and scheduling of maintenance activities. As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating resources, including labor, materials, and tools, to ensure compliance with safety regulations and minimize downtime.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Maintenance Technical Leader, Spare Parts Coordinator, and other departments to prioritize work, optimize productivity, and support the company's overall TPM strategy.

In this role, you will have the authority to execute all responsibilities detailed within your job description and any procedures or processes in place.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruption to operations
  • Coordinate resources, including personnel, tools, and spare parts, to ensure readiness for scheduled maintenance tasks
  • Analyze equipment history and maintenance data to improve planning, increase reliability, and reduce downtime
  • Create, prioritize, and manage work orders within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure effective communication, scheduling, and resource allocation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of Level 3 qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (or time served Engineering experience)
  • GCSE in Mathematics or equivalent
  • Proven engineering experience
  • Experience in a related plant maintenance environment, ideally maintenance activities related to production equipment within a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of maintenance systems and procedures, ideally SAP

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience
