About the Role
At Tesco, we believe in the importance of teamwork and collaboration. As a Service Maintenance Specialist, you will be part of our dedicated team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our stores and offices. You will work closely with our Store Leadership Teams to deliver statutory requirements and proactive planned maintenance, using our operating model to minimize equipment breakdown and impact on business. This role requires a qualified Drainage Engineer to work as part of our Service Team, delivering high-quality work standards across the estate, with year-on-year improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Ensuring all Tesco sites are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
Following the planned work schedule to achieve first-time fix, maximizing productivity, and effectiveness.
Delivering high-quality work standards across the estate, with year-on-year improvement.
Communicating and building effective relationships with stakeholders.
Working closely with team members, sharing best practice and knowledge.
Using problem-solving skills and innovation to identify and develop solutions for key and common issues.
Representing the Tesco brand, following business ways of working, demonstrating values-led behaviors, a positive attitude, and taking pride in wearing the Tesco uniform.
Attending local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
Supporting KPI delivery, through the practical application of skill sets, and effective use of business systems to drive achievement of your own set KPIs.
Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.

Requirements
Full driving license.
Health & Safety awareness.
Communication & stakeholder management.
Office 365 knowledge.
Completed all technical training or upskilling modules relevant to skillset and or relevant experience.
Install/Repair underground Storm/Foul pipework, Sanitary Ware, water supply systems, and extending pipework to connect fixtures and plumbing to these systems.
Ideally, the completion of a Recognised Apprenticeship, Improver Programme, or Trade Proficiency Test.
Previous experience of Drainage and Plumbing, including mechanical repairs, lining, patching, dig-downs, unblocks, and CCTV surveys.
WJA and Confined Spaces qualifications are desirable.
Digitally confident; can comfortably operate mobile phone and tablets to view workload, emails, Teams, and use of business systems.
