Senior Credit Risk Manager

Join Tandem, the UK's greener digital bank, as we revolutionize the way we save, borrow, spend, and share. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Manager to lead our Portfolio Credit Risk team and drive our credit risk management framework.
About the Role:
- Lead the Portfolio Credit Risk team and oversee end-to-end credit risk activities across all Tandem lending products.
- Develop and implement credit risk policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to risk appetite.
- Drive the credit committee agenda, identifying and escalating risk issues as appropriate.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver credit risk data requirements and analytics.
- Build and coach a high-performing Portfolio Credit Risk team, promoting market-leading practices in credit risk control and governance.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of consumer credit risk management frameworks and principles.
- Proven experience in leadership and talent development, with a track record of driving credit risk management initiatives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
