We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Lead to join our First Response Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in mental health crisis management.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the shift and allocate work to the team, ensuring effective use of resources and timely response to mental health crises.
- Conduct telephone triage and community face-to-face assessments for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, providing expert advice and guidance to the team.
- Develop and implement brief care and treatment interventions for individual patients, working closely with the First Response Service and other mental health services.
- Provide assessment, planning, and implementation of individual packages of care and treatment, promoting a recovery model that empowers patients, carers, and relatives.
- Undertake clinical risk assessments, based on the latest empirical evidence and compliant with local policies and procedures.
- Enable patients and carers to manage disability, loss, and change, championing their rights and dignity.
We are looking for a candidate with a Social Work Qualification, Mental Health Nurse Qualification, and evidence of continuing professional development. Experience in mental health care and treatment, teaching, training, and supervision of clinical staff is essential. A leadership qualification and Advanced Nurse Prescriber Qualification are desirable.
