Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Theo James Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections and testing, to identify and address potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of the manufacturing process.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize production.
Requirements:
  • Apprentice-trained Electrical Engineer with a strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Significant experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety protocols and procedures, including 17th/18th IEE Regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn new processes and technologies.
