Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Electrician to carry out planned and preventative electrical maintenance, diagnose and replace failed domestic electrical components, and respond to breakdowns in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out planned and preventative electrical maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems.
- Diagnose and replace failed domestic electrical components to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of service.
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to the Safe System of Work.
- Actively fault-finding and problem-solving on domestic electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Undertake electrical installation activities in accordance with design specifications and IET Wiring Regulations.
- Test and inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with current IEE wiring regulations.
- Monitor and order critical spares for all electrical services to ensure minimal downtime.
- Appropriate technical qualifications, such as City & Guilds 2365 parts 1-3, BTEC, or NVQ level 3 or above.
- Knowledge and experience of Electrical Systems and Electricity at Work Regulations.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Valid passport or Full Birth Certificate & Photo Driving Licence.
- Proof of National Insurance and proof of address dated in the past 3 months.
