PrimaryCareCareers is seeking a skilled Family Healthcare Specialist to join their team at Ballards Walk Surgery. This salaried GP position offers flexibility in working hours and salary, allowing for a tailored approach to meet the needs of the practice and the individual.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, and queries, as well as checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with paperwork, reports, and correspondence.
  • Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting medical problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers within the organisation.
  • Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems, and screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
  • Develop care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols.
  • Collect data for audit purposes and comply with QOF requirements.
  • Take responsibility for your own career development, learning, and performance, and ensure that all mandatory training is up to date.
  • Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines, including prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, and health and safety.
