European Tech Recruit is seeking an experienced FPGA Design and Embedded Systems Engineer to join our innovative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop FPGA architectures for complex embedded systems.
  • Modify and optimize RTL designs for FPGA implementation.
  • Create and maintain FPGA design documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA designs into larger systems.
  • Debug and troubleshoot FPGA designs using simulation and hardware tools.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure design quality and functionality.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Stay current with emerging FPGA technologies and industry trends.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in FPGA design and embedded systems.
  • Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog.
  • Strong understanding of digital logic design and computer architecture.
  • Experience with FPGA development tools (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus).
  • Familiarity with hardware description languages and synthesis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Arm-based systems and AMBA protocols.
  • Knowledge of high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Tcl).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Background in ASIC design or SoC development.
