**High-Frequency Prop Trading Firm Expands Core Engineering Team**

We are seeking a talented FPGA Developer with a passion for software engineering to join our team. As a key member of our core engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying some of the world's fastest and most sophisticated trading systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of traditional RTL design and software development skills. You should enjoy using software engineering methodologies to improve the hardware development workflow and integrating your designs into a larger software stack.

Our firm provides access to a wide range of global financial markets, including new markets, cutting-edge technical capabilities, and expert market intelligence. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a team of experts to drive innovation and excellence in our trading strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop high-performance FPGA solutions for trading systems.
  2. Collaborate with software engineers to integrate FPGA designs into a larger software stack.
  3. Work with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence in our trading strategies.
  4. Contribute to the development of best practices and guidelines for FPGA development.

Requirements:

  • Strong FPGA design and development experience.
  • Software development experience with C++ or Java.
  • Solid understanding of Linux operating system.
  • Experience with FPGA vendor tools, e.g., Vivado, Quartus.
  • Good knowledge of network protocols, e.g., TCP/IP and Ethernet.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
